Horsey Girl bar soap is considered “pure soap” which means that there are no detergents, no sulfates and no alcohol.   So real and pure is our bar soap, the FDA does not require that the ingredients be listed on the label.  Many bars on the market are actually detergents, and not soaps at all. They are called “syndet bars”, or synthetic detergent bars. They are made from synthesized chemicals (powdered detergent) and are typically much harsher than soap. True soap, like this one, is made from natural oils and is gentle -much more mild than detergents.
